Min-Yang Li is an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial and Information Management at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU).

His research primarily focuses on discrete optimization challenges. Before joining NCKU, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management at Feng Chia University (FCU). He also spent a substantial period at the High-Performance Materials Institute (HPMI) at Florida State University (FSU), where he examined how nano- and microstructural characteristics influence the physical properties of advanced materials in manufacturing.

Min-Yang received his BS degree in Industrial and Information Management from NCKU, and MS and PhD degrees in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from FSU.

Outside of work, he is a board game addict.
